Yeah I know, you don’t enjoy phone calls

But when destiny gives a ring

Do you find yourself choosing?

Was it good or was it very good?

Perhaps you’ll decide, after the click of the phone

The longing gets amplified when you hear that smile

You dislike numbers at this point of time

You simply wish you could say ‘Statue!’

‘Cause the only bad thing that can happen is the click of the phone

You hear ‘Hello’ and there arrives the vanishing point

You figure out the pauses

You like the overlaps

But you absolutely love the game of ‘jinx’

Wanting more of utopia, you go through the spoken and the unspoken

After the click of the phone

Enter dreaded roller coaster theory

You still live amid the ruins of that broken shelter

Which caused and effected the disconnection

You’re tired of trying to assert

That you don’t want to hear the click of the phone

You look jaded, you feel mute

You keep hearing things

You can’t get enough of wishful thinking

You search for fire, for warmth

But you curse your elephantine memory

‘Cause you discover, that all it took to dampen you

Was the click of a phone…
